Privacy

RogueIM is being designed as an invitation-only text chat service. The following describes the information required for the current account and invitation systems.

Account information

Supabase Authentication stores account credentials and sign-in information. RogueIM stores screen names, selected profile information, account status, and invitation redemption records.

Invitation records

Invitation codes are stored as hashes. We record their issuing source, redemption state, and related security events to control access and investigate abuse.

Conversations

Chat messaging is not yet enabled. Before opening it, we will publish additional details about message storage, moderation, retention, and member privacy controls.

Security

Administrative database operations use restricted server credentials. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
